We start a 49 day kido in Bori Sa, for all beings and for Catalonia, Spain, Europe, and the World.
During this kido we will chant Hwa Om Song Jung, who are the Dharma Protectors, guardians who protect the Buddha, the Dharma and the place of practice, and also the people who follow the Dharma (Sangha). So, by chanting Hwa Om Song Jung, we participate in the protection of all the aforementioned.
When we do kido, we practice together and this energy helps the world as well as ourselves and our families. By joining this kido, you participate in this practice whether you are in Bori Sa or not. You can come to do kido to Bori Sa, to the Zen Center in Barcelona or even to do it in your own home (adapting the kido to your possibilities of time and commitment).

Kido is like having very dirty water: if you boil it one time, it becomes steam; then make it cold again, and it is clear water. Kido’s meaning is—my mind is boiled. Before-Kido mind was very dirty. After-kido mind is very clear. Before, dark water means bad karma, dark mind. We tried this Kido, and every body got this special energy. Special energy means to become steam. You know, like this steam engine has energy. Water has no energy; if you boil water, you get steam energy. So this steam energy makes the train go. So, when we try Kwan Seum Bosal, Kwan Seum Bosal, then our mind is correct nothing. True nothing means the Universe and I become one—that is special energy. Then slow, slow Kwan Seum Bosal means clear water, quiet mind, just-like-this mind. So, previous karma disappears; our mind becomes clear. (Zen Master Seung Sahn, teaching letter_422)
